The Bullhead City Morning Kiwanis Club is an active group of volunteers, dedicated to making a difference in our community. We participate in a wide variety of activities that either raise money to support local needs or directly support those in need. For example, each year we spend approximately $8,000 to provide free swim lessons for area children through the Bullhead City Recreation Department. This year, we also teamed up with REALTORS® from the Keller Williams Realty River Cities Specialists office to purchase 170 winter jackets for needy children in our area through the second annual Kids Need Coats Pancake Breakfast.

Last year alone, Bullhead City Morning Kiwanians raised more than $60,000 to help children and families in our area.

Our Club sponsors the Mohave High School and the Mohave Accelerated Learning Center Key Clubs as well as the Bringing Up Grades (B.U.G.) Program at Mountain View Elementary, Mohave Accelerated Learning Center and Diamondback Elementary Schools. In addition, the Club provides free swim lessons to hundreds of children each year through its Priority One Swim Lessons.

Other programs to which we allocated funds included various scholarships, College for Kids, the River Cities Community Clinic, the Community Health Fair, Boys & Girls Club of the Colorado River, Child Protective Services, Teen Maze, Barracuda Swim Team and many others.
